AP state assembly live updates, debate on Telangana Bill in AP state assembly,
Hyderabad: The way Andhra Pradesh state assembly got adjourned on Saturday clearly indicates that there is a strong possibility of the story repeating for many days.
Devineni Uma on Friday said that the copies of T-Bill sent by the president are not in Telugu. So, said Devineni, they will not allow the house to take up T-debate. This is viewed as a foolish outlook by many political analysts.
From the other end, the recently turned legislative affairs minister Sailajanath said the discussion on T-Bill has not yet started. Further, he said the same will happen after another BAC meet. Seemandhra region will not achieve any gains through the hurdles caused for the smooth functioning of the house by their elected leaders. Even if there is no debate on the T-bill, it has to be returned to the president by January 23.
The ultimate decision is in the court of Parliament. Then why should the leaders befool the Seemandhra people, even at this crucial juncture? It will not fetch any gain to both the regions. A healthy discussion on the bill may rather fetch some fruitful outcomes like healthy relationship between the two regions, even after the state bifurcation and many more such things.
