Another sting operation in Vijayawada has exposed the oil mafia of the Vijayawada corporation.The sting Operation exposed how the drivers were stealing diesel and other oil  from garbage clearance vehicles of the Vijayawada municipal corporation.

All the stolen oil is sold through pan shop outlets by the Mafia at Rs 50 per litre and vehicles are queuing up before the pan ship outlets at nights and early morning hours to avoid police and vigilance.
 
The sting operation has exposed how for years on such diesel theft is occurring in the municipal corporation dump yards where vehicles halt for night or operate through late nights and early hours. The oil mafia has driven the Vijayawada municipal corporation further into financial crisis and it appeared that many bigwigs and top officials were involved in the racket.
