Tollywood power star Pawan Kalyan has once again become a trendsetter-this time in Politics. What he did in 2014 was to stoke campaign against corruption albeit patriotism which took the breath out of the YSRC and Jagan bandwagon in the general elections. We all know that YS Jagan lost power by whisker and Chandrababu Naidu thanked his stars for that.
Now Pawan Kalyan has been rising tempers and political heat in the political amphitheater of Andhra Pradesh and has once again saved the neck of Chandrababu Naidu in the capital region land pooling affairs which other wise would have gone awry and in favour of Jagan, even though, temporarily.
The most reclusive star of Tollywood, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and the chocolate hero hardly opens up to reveal what's on his mind. But when he does, it becomes a national sensation. One such biggest sensation was when he visited the CRDA village as campaigner of the Jana Sena party for the sake of the farmers in CRDA, to take the initiative out of Jagan's hands. The Jana Sena Party which has shown its clout at Delhi durbar is looked upon as a long awaited transformation of the actors inner angst and passion towards service to society.
The star had remained silent for almost a year post the 2014 elections and opened up on March to blame both the TDP and the BJP for Centre's incompetent administration and directly warned them for failing to stand by people who had voted them to power. Surprisingly, Pawan who toured the capital region and highlighted the plight of farmers and even held a press conference to clarify his stand on TDP and BJP has fallen silent again. All these 'hit and run'acts of the power star are making one wonder if Pawan sees politics as a part-time hobby or a temporary play ground when he is not doing films.
If rise in Pawan's temper once could bring the cat out of Chandrababu on his real intentions for CRDA capital region and the fate of the farmers, then let us hope Pawan Kalyan comes out on to political platform more often, at least once a month to set right the rot in TDP and the BJP.
