Hyderabad: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's mother Prabhavati, 85, has passed away last evening.

Prabhavati suddenly fell sick Saturday evening at her Sagar Society residence in Banjara Hills and was rushed to Citizen Hospital immediately but she had breathed her last on way to hospital.

On hearing the news, Satya Nadella has left for Hyderabad by a chartered flight from the US.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his condolences over Prabhabati's death and conveyed his profound sympathies to the bereaved family members.
