CM Chandrababu asks Public to donate one day’s salary for AP capital
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is promising to develop Tullur as a world-class capital by attracting global investors and has appealed to the public to donate one day’s income every month for construction of the new capital. He said that every month the government will announce the details of donations and hoped the people will contribute for the new capital.
The CM said that Manmadha Nama Savatsaram Ugadi celebration is the first official Telugu New Year celebration for the AP public. Mr Naidu participated in Ugadi celebrations on Saturday at Ananthavaram and distributed Ugadi awards to eminent persons.
Mr Naidu said the new capital is not a tahsildar office and said that the world class capital would help in the swift development of all sectors. He said that no government has collected 33,400 acres under a Land Pooling Scheme and claimed that this is a world record.
Claiming that NTR fought for the honour of Telugus and gave them a distinct identity, he said that he developed Hyderabad and would develop Tullur along with Vijayawada and Guntur. Recalling the washout of the Congress, Mr Naidu said that people have taught a befitting lesson to the Congress for the injustice done to Telugus.
He added that the cannot forget the people of the new capital who offered their lands under LPS trusting him and added that tenant farmers and agriculture workers will get Rs 2,500 social security pension per month from April. He announced implementation of the Rs 10,000 loan waiver to Dwcra group members soon. Mr Naidu vowed to develop Vishakapa-tnam and Tirupati into big cities. He asked the public to discuss the development of the state.
