Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof. L Venugopal Reddy announced that the EAMCET will be held on May 10, 2015.

EAMCET - May 10
Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) – May 14
Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) – May 16
Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) – May 28
Law Courses Common Entrance Test – (LAWCET, PGLCET) – May 30.

‘We will conduct all the common entrance examinations like the previous year’, he said. Prof. Venugopal said that APSHCE has the authority to conduct of common entrance tests in line with the AP State Reorganization Act.

Speaking to press, the Chairman APSCHE Prof. L Venugopal Reddy along with Vice-chairman Prof. Vijay Prakash said that they will conduct the test for the students of both Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh. They added that they have been empowered vide Sec.75 and 95 of AP State Reorganization Act. Telangana State Council of Higher Education has no legality, they added. Meanwhile, Telangana State Council of Higher Education Papi Reddy said that they will conduct the EAMCET in Telangana and a date will be announced shortly. He alleged that APSCHE is acting unilaterally.
