Hyderabad: The TRS on Saturday said it will reveal several startling decisions in the days to come while refusing to oblige the Congress demands to reverse its decision on shifting the Secretariat.

“What they (Congress) have seen is only a trailer, the real cinema is ahead,” remarked IT minister K.T. Rama Rao while taking a dig at Congress’ protest march. Mr Rama Rao indicated that more ‘startling’ announcements for public good were in the offing from the TRS government and from Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the days to come.

“They are out of power and confused, but they cannot be power hungry within six months. We still have five years to go. What they have seen is only a trailer, the real cinema is ahead. Mr Chandrasekhar Rao is turning the impossible into possible,” he asserted.

Hitting out at Telangana PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and other Congress leaders for organising a padayatra against shifting of the Secretariat to Chest Hospital, he said it is not going to affect the TRS government.

He said Ponnala Lakshmaiah will have to undertake several more yatras and agitations in the days to come. On the issue of shifting the Secretariat, he said,  “We want an integrated complex where all HoDs are located in one place to improve functioning of the administration.

It will also be useful to the people,” he said, adding, “Congress is trying to create an issue. Whenever needed we will take the opinion of all, but we will certainly not accept criticism just for  the sake of criticism and creating deliberate hurdles. We are answerable to the people but  not to the Opposition.”

Congress ruled Delhi for 15 years, but today the Congress is struggling to bag even one or two seats. Congress is on the verge of extinction in the country, he said.

The panchayat raj and IT minister was speaking to mediapersons at the inauguration of a private hospital. He said the government was trying to provide the beside medical care in both government and private sector.
