Police constable Nagaraju, who was killed recently during a fierce gun-battle between Telangana police and suspected fugitive SIMI terrorists, was newly-married. 27-year-old Nagaraju married to Sanjana Rani only four months ago. This is not all. Nagaraju was the only son and sole breadwinner of his family. His father Sriman Narayana was all tears and couldn't take his untimely death. Nagaraju's wife Sanjana Rani became inconsolable when the doctors announced that Nagaraju was brought dead. Nagaraju joined the district police recently. He had earlier worked with the AP Special Police. He was killed on Saturday morning during an encounter between terrorists and Telangana police held under Mothkur police station limits.

Meanwhile, another injured cop (sub-inspector) G.D. Siddaiah is listed as critical. His wife is pregnant. He was supposed to go on leave from Saturday as his wife was expecting a baby.  Siddaiah is 29-yr-old.

The two terrorists had killed home guard Mahesh and grievously injured circle inspector Y Mogalaiah on April 2 at Suryapet. The terrorists had escaped from Khandwa Jail in Madhya Pradesh. Mohammad Aijajudden and Mohammad Aslam have been killed and 3 others - Amjad Khan, Zakir Hussain Sadiq and Mehboob Guddu – are absconding.
