Do you remember the old weaver Ramulu of ‘Vedam’ who is forced to let his daughter-in-law sell her kidney in order to get rid of a huge debt? Apparently, the actor, Nagaiah, has been facing financial woes in real life too and was reportedly seen begging in Hyderabad since a few days.

The artiste, who hails from Guntur, was spotted by onlookers who shared his plight on the social network and requested Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) and the government of Telangana to provide assistance to him.

And in an appreciable quick response to the same Telangana IT Minister KTR handed over Rs one lakh to Nagaiah and also brought this issue into the notice of MAA president Rajendra Prasad. He has also been promised a monthly pension by the government.
