Telangana state to Get 222 MW of Central Power
Telangana will receive an additional power of 222 MW between April 1 and September, and another 374 MW from October 1 to March next from the Central Power Authority.
This comes in the wake of Delhi state government returning 693 MW to the Centre, which has to be distributed among other states based on the proposals sent by the respective governments.
The Union government has written a letter to the Central Power Authority to make arrangements for distribution of the additional power. Thus, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh too will get a share of the additional power held by the Centre.
Accordingly, Andhra Pradesh will receive 304 MW between April and September, Kerala 167 MW between April and September, and 319 MW from October to March next.
