Hyderabad: Panchayat raj and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday lashed out at AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s “alien” comments and asked people to drive away Telugu Desam from Telangana. The TD should now be called PDP Pakka Desam Party (neighbouring state party), he remarked. He criticised the Congress leaders for threatening to file cases against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Mr Rama Rao, who undertook a whirlwind tour of Nalgonda district as part of overseeing TS Water Grid, lashed out at Congress leaders for threatening to file cases against Chief Minister on various issues.“Congress leaders who hid themselves during the Telangana movement, have lost their mental balance after the party was routed. Now they are threatening to drag the CM to court and jail him. What did the CM do? Is it wrong to take up the water grid? Hike old age, destitute pension of `200 to `1,000. People are with Mr Rao and no one can touch him,” he remarked.
