Indian Railways,Train passengers to get calls
Indian Railways is working overtime to be more customer friendly.
In its latest initiative, the railways launched a 'wake up call' facility that will enable passengers sleep with-out any worry about missing their station of detraining. The Railways will inform the passenger 30 minutes prior to his/her destination through a phone call.
Collaborating with Bharat BPO, the IRCTC enabled this feature to the passengers. The passenger will have to call 139 to avail this facility. Similar to this feature, a buffer call, called 'Train destination alarm call' was also initiated which does the same work as the wake up call.
