Tirupati: With the Seshachalam incident creating a rift between Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, there is more trouble in store for the Chandrababu government.

Chittoor district is likely to experience tension with the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) general secretary Vaiko aka V. Gopalaswamy declaring to lay siege to the district's collectorate on Friday, reports said.

Caliming that the shooting incident was ‘pre-planned and state-sponsored’,  Vaiko said AP policemen did not observe restraint.

Expressed sympathy for the large number of labour languishing in AP jails for over a year, Vaiko said, “The workers blindly believed the fake assurance of the agent that he had secured permission to chop the trees and hence they were not at fault.”

He wondered as to why the AP special task force members never encountered the bigwig smugglers.

Vaiko along with his party cadres will take out a procession from Vellore city in Tamil Nadu at 10 am and walk 30 km to reach Chittoor Collectorate.
