Speaking to media persons at the TSPSC, the TPCC ST Department Chairman, R Jaganlal Naik who led the demonstration recalled the promise made by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during the election campaign. He said he had demanded 12 percent reservation to the Tribals.

Even though the academic year commenced for various courses, the government is only Replica Breitling Navitimer extending 6 percent  reservation. He said that the Singareni Collieries had already issued notification for filling up 5,000 posts. On the other hand Cabinet has approved filling up 19,000 posts for Mission Kakatiya, Watergrid, Police department and power.

“If this continues, how the government will do justice to the Tribals without fulfilling its promise of reservation,” he questioned.  According to him, the Chellappan Commission constituted by government would only delay the process and would prove harmful to the interest of the Tribals, as  the government is trying include other communities as Schedule Tribes. He demanded the government to scrap the Commission and Replica Rolex Datejust to fill up the backlog posts reserved for the STs.
