Hyderabad: The Telangana TDP MLAs here on Friday called on Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudana Chary at the latter’s residence and demanded that he take action against the legislators who had defected from T TDP to TRS. Telangana TDP president L Ramana and T TDLP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao met the Speaker and submitted a memorandum in this regard.

Speaking to the media later, Ramana alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was thinking that the Telangana State was his fiefdom. “KCR has turned into a political vulture and poaching legislators from other political parties taking undue advantage of Speaker’s casual attitude towards the issue,” he said.

He also demanded that the Speaker disqualify those MLAs, who switched from the party on whose symbol they were elected. They also questioned the rationale behind inducing Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who was elected on TDP ticket, into the Cabinet.
