There are two MLC seats vacant in Krishna district from local bodies and one MLC from Teacher’s constituency. Y. Rajendra Prasad’s tenure was completed in 2013 and Congress MLC Ilapuram Venkaiah’s term will be completed by this March. TDP has won most of local bodies in the district.

 It seems that TDP might bag two MLCs easily. There are many TDP leaders are in queue for MLC seat. Yelamanchali Rajendra Prasad might get another chance for MLC from local bodies. It can be musical chairs among the other TDP leaders.

Bonda Uma, Panchumarthy Anuradha and Bachhula Arjunudu are among the others to fight Second MLC in the district. CBN was satisfied on Rajendra Prasad’s performance when TDP in difficult situations.

CBN was appreciated Bonda Uma openly on his agitation for the construction of Fly-over near Durga temple. Uma has tried lot of work to strengthen the party in Vijayawada East Segment. At one stage, his name come into news for VUDA Chairman, after scrapping the VUDA Bonda Uma will be strong contender for MLC.

Ex-Vijayawada Mayor Anuradha also in MLC race. Talkative Anuradha was supported TDP stand in news discussions. She will be the option for CBN if one MLC wants to give weaker section.
