The `Zabardast' satire is inviting court's notices. The ETV serial `Zabardsast' has already come in for attack by some people because it had made fun of a certain caste.
In a fresh case, the entire unit of `Zabardast' was hauled before the Huzurabad court. This was in connection with the charge that it had shown a skit in which the entire legal fraternity was insulted. Apart from those who took part in the episode, even the judges of the programme, Nagababu and RK Roja, producer Shyamprasad Reddy and anchors Reshmi and Anasuya, were also summoned by the Huzurabad court in Karimnagar district.
A lawyer of Huzurabad court filed the case against the `Zabardast' team. Following the summons, Pachcha Madhu, Chmmak Chandra, Rocket Raghava, Shaking Seshu, Nageshwar Rao and Phani appeared in the Huzurabad court on Friday.
Those who did not attend the court include RK Roja, Nagababu, Shyamprasad, Reshmi and Anasuya. They were, however, represented by their lawyer.
The Judge adjourned the hearing to June 30.
