TTD deposits 4.5 tons of gold in Lord's account

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has deposited 4.5 tons of gold in the account of Tirumala Lord in the various banks. Already there are 5,500 kgs of gold in the Lord's account. The value of all this gold is Rs. 1,320 crores. The TTD is taking, the interest on these deposits, in the form of gold only. It is going to deposit another tonne of gold soon, it is learnt.
