Water level in river Krishna at 40-year low

TDP MLC Payaavula Keshav has said that water levels in Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers stood at 40-year low. He said that state government allocated 11 tmc Tungabhadra water to the district and it would be used for drinking water needs. He said that government will complete Pattiseema project within the scheduled time and would divert Krishna river water to Rayalaseema. He said that government would construct an irrigation project in the district.
