After teasing the smartphone for nearly a month, Lenovo took the covers off its Vibe K4 Note model. The successor to last year's K3 Note, the new smartphone is priced at starting price of Rs 11,999.
Among the key features of Lenovo Vibe K4 Note are fingerprint sensor, octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 5.5-inch display with virtual reality support.
On the hardware side, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080x1920p) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone packs 16GB internal storage and supports microSD cards (up to 128GB) and USB on-the-go. Under the hood is the 64-bit octa-core Mediatek 6753 chipset.
K4 Note sports a 13MP rear camera, while the front camera has 5MP sensor. For connectivity, the smartphone features 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC. It is powered by a 3,300mAh battery that supports fast-charging technology.
On the smartphone, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note runs on Android Lollipop with Vibe UI. The company said the smartphone will get Android Marshmallow, but did not give a timeline.
The company has used Dolby Atmos sound enhancement technology for both the speakers and the earphones, a first for smartphones.
