Perabathula Avinash became famous overnight with widespread media coverage on the atrocities committed by him. Claiming to be a close relative of AP Home Minister Nimmakaya Chinna Rajappa, He duped people and even assaulted the victims who questioned him only to end up getting caught red-handed..

Chinna Rajappa, however, denied having any sort of relation with Avinash except for the fact that he met him twice posing as Human Rights Chairman. A case has been filed against him for cheating a woman to the tune of Rs 14 lakhs promising her the post of Human Rights Commission Women's Wing Chairperson. During the preliminary investigation, Cops came to know that Avinash was arrested 4 years ago for alleged smuggling of Tiger's skin.

Human Rights Commission has filed a Suo-Moto Case against Avinash based on the clippings shown in the print media. It served notices to East Godavari Collector and SP seeking a report on the wrongdoings of Avinash by April 6th.

Meanwhile, East Godavari SP Ravi Prakash issued Charge Memos to Peddapuram CI & SI for allegedly arresting Avinash and letting him free sometime ago. Special Teams were set up to nab Avinash and the Cellphone signals suggest he is currently hiding in Hyderabad.
