A newly-wed girl took her BA first year examination right after the marriage and before the Bidaayi ceremony.

What more, she took the examination in bridal dress.

Santosh Prajapat of Baleswar in Rajasthan was married on Monday night and the Bidaayi ceremony, which means the final departure of the bride from the maternal home, was to be held on Tuesday.

But, she had an exam to take. As the wedding party was preparing for the ceremony, Santosh told them that she would take the examination first and then participate in the Bidaayee. She had to make quite an effort to convince the bride and his party.

Later, as the wedding party was preparing for breakfast, she rushed to the examination hall and took the examination.

She argued that if she missed that examination, a whole academic year would be wasted and that she did not want to do that.
