Visa on Arrival,Narendra Modi,Indian Tourism

When you have to list out all those avenues that can bring revenue and growth to a country's economy then tourism stands first. There are many nations that thrive only on tourism and do their best to woo tourists from across the globe. Now, India seems to have taken a big leap in that department.

Due credit for that goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for easing out the visa procedure. The government has implemented the 'visa on arrival' procedure for 43 countries and as a result the tourism graph has shot up. According to official reports, the growth has shot up by a whopping 1215% in just one year.

While the year 2014 saw just 1903 international tourists visiting India, the year 2015 has recorded the arrival of a mind boggling 25023 tourists from different parts of the globe. This Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) has sure become the turning point. Now, it is upto the citizens of India and the tour operators to ensure the image and reputation of India is intact by treating our guests in the most effective manner.
