‘Bengal Tiger’, released a couple of days back has been running successfully with super hit talk. But the openings of this Sampath Nandi directorial on the first day was less than that of Ravi Teja’s flop film ‘Kick 2’ collections.
While ‘Kick 2’ collected Rs.5.77 crores on the first day in the two Telugu speaking states, Bengal Tiger raked in Rs.5.36 crores. But the worldwide share is Rs.6.49 crores. Audiences had big expectations on ‘Kick 2’ since ‘Kick’ was a hit and Surender Reddy’s previous film ‘Race Gurram’ was a blockbuster. But it is not the case of ‘Bengal Tiger’. This film released at a time when many have started writing off the Mass Maharaj and the promotions are also not good. Though the first day collections were affected a bit, the film’s second day collections are said to be very good.

Vizag – 0.39 crores
East – 0.49 crores
West – 0.37 crores
Krishna – 0.32 crores
Guntur – 0.49 crores
Nellore – 0.21 crores
Ceded – 0.90 crores
Total – Rs.5.36 crores
