After the release of Gopala Gopala during Sankranthi last year, actor Venkatesh went into a long hibernation and didn't have any release throughout 2015. After several months of story discussions and dilly-dallying, the senior actor is back to shooting floors with Maruthi's Babu Bangaram.
Even before Venky could wrap up Babu Bangaram, several rumours started doing the rounds that Venky is eyeing Telugu remakes of two crazy hit films, Sethupathi from Tamil and Two Countries from Malayalam.
Today, Venky's official spokesperson issued a press note which clarified that Venky is not doing those two remakes. The press note also said that several exciting projects are lined up for Venky in the coming days. In the past, there were reports about Venky remaking Saala Khadoos in Telugu, but again, let's wait for an official announcement.
Interestingly, there are also reports since this morning that the makers of Naga Chaitanya's Premam have decided not to rope in Venky to play Chay's uncle in the film. This leaves us with Venky saying three big NOs in a single day.
