It is known that creative director Krishna Vamsi has approached Anushka Shetty for a lady oriented subject titled Rudraksha which will be produced by Dil Raju. Anushka has given her initial nod to the script, but somehow Krishna Vamsi backed off and roped in Samantha for this role.
Krishna Vamsi was told that Anushka might get typecast with many female-oriented subjects. So to get fresh feel Krishna Vamsi took the decision which eventually got miffed by Anushka.
Reacting to the whole scenario, Anushka said that “I know how to react to praises and criticisms. I am now at a stage that these will not effect me anymore. I will be neutral to all”. However, the truth behind this entire scenario is unknown.
