Bollywood's Mr.Perfect Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' has collected Rs.29.78cr in 1st day and expected to cross Rs.100cr in 3days.
Dangal is the 2nd highest non-holiday opening in Bollywood after Salman Khan's 'Sultan' which released on Eid had earned Rs.36.74 cr, just 6cr more than Dangal.
According to trade analyst Tarun Adarsh the film is expected to cross Rs.100cr mark in first weekend.
He tweeted "Dangal wrestles demonetisation. Sets the BO on fire. Ends the lull phase, Fri Rs.29.78cr. Sat and Sun biz will be higher. Word of mouth is terrific. Expected to cross ? 100 cr mark in first 3 days, India biz."
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and based on an incredible true story, "Dangal" chronicles the highly inspiring and empowering journey of a father who trains his daughters in wrestling.
In the film, Aamir plays Mahavir Singh Phogat, a former national champion who, much to the disapproval of his wife and his whole village, trained his daughters Geeta and Babita to wrestle.
