DSP to perform at Maestro Ilayaraja's 1000

It is known that Tharai Thappattai is the 1000th film of Maestro Ilaiyaraja. The film is directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Bala, and the film is made in the backdrop of the traditional art form of Tamil Nadu Karagattam. Starring M Sasikumar, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the film was released on January 14.
Devi Sri Prasad is going to perform LIVE at a function named Ilayaraja's 1000 today in Chennai. He said that he feels honoured that the Maestro himself chose him to perform at the event.
Saying that it's one of his happiest days in his life, he tweeted, "Gona perform at ILAYARAJA 1000!! Honoured dat I hav been chosen by Raja sir himself."
