But, from the reports it was heard that, this film was first offered to Jr NTR and Shruti to play the roles of Karthi and Tamannah.
But, they said no due to their tight packed schedules. Later, makers roped in Karthi and white beauty Tamannah. However, already Tarak is running on high success rate with Nannaku Prematho and he is currently busy with his next, Janatha Garage film.
