Superstar Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan starrer Srimanthudu is completing its 200 days run today. The Koratala Siva Siva directorial is achieving the feat in Laxman Theater, Yemmiganur.
Srimanthudu is very special movie for Mahesh Babu. Before release of this flick, Mahesh was in bad phase with flops. We know, how big wonders the message oriented flick has created at the box office, after its arrival to theaters. Apart from breaking records, Srimanthudu won several awards at film events.
Srimanthudu released worldwide on 7th August 2015 to positive critical reception was a commercial success, grossing nearly 80 crores shares and became the second highest grossing Telugu film of all time.
Coincidentally, the film's theme of village adaption support Narendra Modi's Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana scheme. Post the film's release, Mahesh Babu announced to adopt two villages- one from Andhra Pradesh and other from Telangana state.
