Even though Young Tiger NTR did not foray into mainstream politics his name is always heard in AP politics. That is because of controversy involved with his name, and TDP and Nandamuri fans.

In fact there are occasions when his movies became victims of the politics as well. His Dammu was a big proof. Latest we hear is that NTR is doing remake of Kathi movie starred by Vijay in Tamil. The movie with farmers problems as the backdrop was a super duper hit in Tamil.

Tagore Madhu who brought the remake rights even mulled with the idea of having this as Chiranjeevi's 150th movie as well. But for some reasons Chiru declined to do the remake. Now Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu are producing this under Malineni Gopichand's direction. In case as rumors are saying if NTR takes up Kathi remake then we can say its a big bold step by the Young Tiger.

Reason? The movie is all about a young man and his support to farmers and their problems and his fight with the government.

With AP under loan waiver blues and farmer issues on land pooling this is already being discussed as NTR's fight against Naidu's governance. But how will the Nandamuri fans react to this? Let us wait and see!
