Bollywood Actress Kajol to lead Doordarshan

Bollywood Actress Kajol,Prasar Bharti board,Doordarshan,Union Government,Vajpayee's media advisor Ashok Tandon,Bhajan singer Anup Jalota,Senior journalist Minhaz Merchant,Dilwale,Shahrukh Khan

Bollywood Actress Kajol's name features in the list of names proposed by the Government to be part of Prasar Bharti board.

As per sources, Union Government is keen on remodelling Doordarshan for making it commercially viable. So, It is planning to involve more professionals and Kajol's stature will certainly help the cause. Content, Look & Feel of Doordarshan will be changed within the next few months.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry proposed 7 names as part-time board members of Prasar Bharti and all of them have been approved by the Home Ministry. Now, The list will be forwarded to Vice President who will be shortlisting four of them. Vajpayee's media advisor Ashok Tandon, Bhajan singer Anup Jalota and Senior journalist Minhaz Merchant are the other names in the list.

Currently, Kajol is shooting for her comeback flick 'Dilwale' opposite Shahrukh Khan and it will be releasing for Christmas this year.
