Popular television actress Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide on 1st April. The death of the Balika Vadhu actress came as a shock not only to us, but also to the television industry.
The post-mortem reports revealed that it is a clear case of suicide. While the actress' close friends are still shocked, and blame her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh for the same (suicide); a few others from television industry say that Pratyusha was depressed and also had financial problem, which may have made the actress to take the drastic step.
Yesterday (April 3) evening, Pratyusha's close friends, Vikas Gupta, Kamya Punjabi, Adaa Khan, Shashank Vyas, Falguni Bramhabhatt and Leena Dias held a conference to clear the speculations that was created against the actress.
Vikas was irked with people who were taking undue advantage of the situation (saying they knew Pratyusha, calling Pratyusha's mother and recording (Dolly Bindra), taking pictures with her body), doesn't know her well. Vikas cleared that Pratyusha was not facing any financial crisis, and neither she was stressed.
He was quoted by an entertainment website as saying, "The only issue in her life was her disturbed relation with her boyfriend Rahul. If he tells he is not at fault then why did he leave Pratyusha and vanish from the hospital? In fact, we know that Saloni was also at the hospital when Rahul got Pratyusha there, which is quite suspicious."
Kamya and Leena too echoed the same. Kamya said that Pratyusha had complained her about Rahul cheating on her. Sara Khan, who was also close to Pratyusha was quoted by the website as saying, "It's foul play, I feel planned murder. Rahul is an absolute as*h***. He tortured Pihu."
But, Rahul's father, Harshvardhan has something else to say. He says that Pratyusha was happy with Rahul, but 'she didn't share good relationship with her parents'. She had also told him that 'her family handled all her bank accounts and never gave her any money.'
Rahul's father added that Pratuyusha did not even have Rs 6,000 to pay for her car's EMI. He said that Pratyusha's friend's statement against his son is wrong! He added that Rahul was concerned about Pratysha everytime!
About Saloni Sharma, Rahul's another girlfriend, Harshvardhan was quoted by the entertainment website as saying, "Rahul had mentioned to us that she was a psycho kind and was after his life. She was not ready to leave my son."
We are quite confused; also wondering, if Rahul is really innocent, why his friends (not even one!) haven't come out to support him! This could either mean Rahul is really involved in this, or he doesn't have friends in the industry (which is quite impossible)! We are just hoping the truth to come out!
