Mannara Chopra, who is currently working in Sunil’s untitled film, where she’ll be seen as a karate kid, has bagged her next. Hans Talkies has learnt the Mumbai actress bas bagged Sai Dharam Tej-starrer in-progress film ‘Thikka’. Sources say that Mannara, who will be one of the leading ladies in ‘Thikka’, along with Brazilian model Larrisa Bonesi, had replaced Amrita Dasgupta.
A source close to the unit informs, “The makers were on the lookout for an actress who is glamorous and at the same time can emote well. Besides her portfolio, the performance in her current film sealed the deal for Mannara. She has even completed her first schedule of shooting.”
The comic caper loaded with action is being directed by Sunil Reddy.
It will see Sai Dharam Tej employed with a construction company. Also starring Rajendra Prasad, Ali, Posani Krishna Murali, Rao Ramesh and Mumaith Khan in supporting roles, the film is a production of Rohin Kumar Reddy.
