A recent survey results by People Studies which is a research institute led by Professor S Rajanayagam has been a huge surprise.
Rajinikanth was always known to be the biggest star in Tamil Nadu. As per the opinion poll results, Ajith surpassed him to hold the crown of Tamil Nadu People's Favourite Actor.
Opinion Poll Results:
1) Ajith (16 percent); 2) Rajinikanth (15.9 percent); 3) Vijay (9.2 percent); 4) Kamal Hassan (5.9 percent); 5) Suriya (4.3 percent).
In an another Opinion Poll conducted by People Studies, As much as 33.3 percent respondents claimed they would be voting for Jayalalithaa's AIADMK in the upcoming General Elections. Whereas, 33.1 Percent respondents said they were in favor of Karunanidhi's DMK. About 5,464 people participated in the survey held between January 7th to 19th. It covered 120 Assembly and 39 Lok Sabha segments in Tamil Nadu.
