The teaser of Nagarjuna-Karthi-Tamannaah's multistarrer Oopiri has been released just a while ago. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Oopiri is produced by PVP Cinema. The film is based on the hit French comedy drama The Intouchables and a major part of the film was shot in Paris.
The teaser starts off with a grand night shot of The City of Love and Lights, Paris, in its full grandeur at night and Nag's voiceover quoting, "Beauty not admired is a sin". Then, Nag, a wheelchair bound paraplegic, charmingly flirts with a French beauty in Telugu.
Then enter Tamannaah and Karthi. Tamannaah translates a couple of French dialogues about love and beauty for Karthi, and looks like a love story is blossoming between them, with Karthi cheesily trying to woo Tamannaah.
Then follow a series of flashy shots of an Indian jail and Parisian establishing shots and a grand Prix shot, raising curiosity about the film's intriguing plot.
No doubt that Oopiri is a breath of fresh air in Tollywood which is slowly coming out the routine formula films. And for Nag, Oopiri can be another game changer after Manam and Soggade Chinni Nayana. Wait until March 25 to take a fresh 'Oopiri'.
