Bollywood flick 'Neerja' which is a biopic of Neerja Bhanot has been receiving rave reviews and unanimous positive response from the viewers since its release. Amul took this as an opportunity to share one of its old advertisements which features Neerja Bhanot. The commercial was released for the first time in the 80s.
Neerja Bhanot sacrificed her life to save passengers on hijacked flight 73 in 1986. The brave lady was later honoured by Indian Government with Ashok Chakra Award. She is also India's youngest recipient of this honour.
Realistic portrayal of Flight 73 hijack in 'Neerja' has struck the right chord with the audience. It is being rated as Sonam Kapoor's best performance till date.
