Not surprisingly, many speculations have been cropping up pertaining to Ajith's upcoming movie, Thala 57. The latest to join the list is the team's effort to rope in actress Anushka Shetty to play the female lead.
Though the news hasn't been confirmed officially, sources have revealed that the Yennai Arindhaal actress has been approached by the makers of Thala 57. All that remains to be seen is if the busy actress can allot dates to be a part of Ajith's next.
To be directed by Siva of Veeram and Vedalam fame, the pre-production work of Thala 57 is already under way.
Siva, along with music director Anirudh, is currently stationed at Kodaikanal where the duo is working on the tunes of the movie, it is said.
Since the shooting for the project will begin only from June, the young musician may finish composing music for all the songs even before the film goes on floors.
