The AP Government has decided to hike the wages of Anganwadi workers from Rs. 4,200 to Rs. 7,000 while the wages of Anganwadi helpers will be hiked to Rs 4500.
The decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting presided by state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada and the Cabinet also decided to replace the conventional street lights in 659 villages across the state with LED lights.
