All the political parties in Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana state have been blaming Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for the Godavari Stampede that claimed more than 27 lives.
YS Jagan and several other leaders demanded that Chandrababu take moral responsibility for the incident and resign. They also said that the incident occurred due to gross mismanagement and lack of concern for devotees.
At the time Chandrababu is facing criticism, APNGOs president Ashok Babu has come to the rescue of the AP CM.
Ashok Babu has showered praises on Chandrababu. Speaking to the media after taking a holy dip, the APNGOs chief said that the Government made all the necessary arrangements for the devotees and the arrangements are no less than Kumbh Mela.
The AP government would be known in history for its arrangements, he added.
