Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday accepted the resignation of Danam Nagender from the post of president of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
According to sources, Uttam Kumar Reddy accepted the resignation on the advise of AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh. Meanwhile, Ranga Reddy DCC president Kayam Mallesh too submitted his resignation on Monday owing moral responsibility over party’s humiliating defeat in GHMC elections.
