Congress leaders criticize TRS politics over Palair by-polls

Telangana Congress leaders Sabitha Indra Reddy and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy came down heavily on TRS for playing politics ahead of the upcoming Palair bypolls.

The Congress leaders issued a statement in Hyderabad on Saturday stating that the TRS is opposing the nomination of the kin of legislators who die while in office instead of allowing Sucharita Reddy to become an MLA from Palair, the constituency her husband Ramreddy Venkat Reddy represented.

They further alleged that Telangana martyr Srikanthachary's mother was given a weak seat by the TRS to ensure her defeat and are but are supporting Tummala Nageswara Rao, who had opposed the Telangana movement.
