Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's Statements On AP Special Status

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, while addressing the members in Lok Sabha said that all the states of India are collecting their taxation after the 14 Finance Commission comes into play. The minister said that it is centre, which has been offering assistance of 42 % to them from central pool taxation. While addressing on AP state, the minister said that centre is committed towards the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and added that the provisions cannot be denied to AP . However, he denied the main point of the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
