Ever since the new capital city of the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh is announced and named it as Amaravati, there's a great buzz about the forthcoming capital. As soon as the AP government successfully completed land pooling, the curiosity doubled. Singapore government agencies have submitted their master plan and AP government is on verge of finalising the final layout based on public opinion.
Now all eyes are on the first building that to be built in Amaravati. The first building is going to be built at Lingayapalem. Spanning across 500 acres, government is contemplating to construct 40-floor building. The building is likely to be an eco-friendly and all other building would also be on the same line. It's buzzed that the first building is expected to have Secretariat and CM Camp office. The building built estimated to occupy 44 Lakh square feet and likely to accommodate more than 40,000 employees.
Meanwhile, the construction of the seed capital development area - covering 16.7 sq km - comprises the AP Legislative Assembly, Legislative Council, High Court, Raj Bhavan, quarters for the ministers and officials, and the township for government officials, besides many others.
It's learnt that Amaravati is envisaged to be developed as smart, green and sustainable city. In line with being developed as the People's Capital of Andhra Pradesh, AP Government is aspiring to create a vibrant, diverse, inclusive and modern city.
