The Hunger strike is being carried out by him for the development of Kapu community, said Mudragada Padmanabham .We are demanding to fulfil the promises given by Chandrababu Naidu in the general election.
"We mainly demand reservation to the poor and economically backward Kapus. We are demanding reservations to the kapus without altering the reservation of the BCs", said Mudaragada.
The kapu leader sought forgiveness from the Chief Minister for criticizing him on various occassions. The criticism is out of agaony, but not with hatred, added Mudragada.
He thanked the political leaders of various political parties for extending their support to the hunger strike.
"I hope that the Government will abide by the promises given to the Kapu community. We are confident through dialogue", said the Kapu leader.
The government stated that Commission will be grant Rs 500 crore in the Budget 2016 and it would be increased to Rs. 1000 cr in the next Budget, said Mudragada.
"We asked the Government to reconsider the cases related to the Tuni incident where false cases are filed. The Government was positive. I humbly request the Government , not to make the incident repeat. I will wash the feet of CM Chandrababu , the moment the reservation to kapus becomes real", added Mudragada.
