Japanese Team to filter Krishna River Water to Provide Safe Drinking Water

VIJAYAWADA: Two experts from Japanese company Hitath — Hiromasa Iguchi and Anamika Bhargava — studied the filtration of Krishna water at the Head Waterworks in the city so as to suggest ways to incorporate modern technology for better filtration in order to provide safe drinking water to the citizens.

Vijayawada Municipal Corporation chief engineer MA Shakoor explained them about the requirement, source supply and technique being employed for supply of safe drinking water in the city till date. The experts came to city on the request of the government.
