KURNOOL: Collector Ch Vijaya Mohan has said that Kurnool district has set a target to send five crore bricks for the construction of Amaravati.The district administration conducted ‘5K Run’ as part of ‘Mana Neeru-Mana Matti’ programme.
The run started from the Collectorate and concluded at Kondareddy Buruju. The officials also organised a public meeting at the Police Parade Ground wherein members of various faiths performed prayers.
Few officials and people’s representatives announced their contributions to the capital construction. MLC Silpa Chakrapani Reddy promised to donate one lakh bricks, while collector contributed 1,000 bricks.
