Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said his government was ready to officer special packages for the development of Telugu film industry in the state.
Chandrababu made the statement while inaugurating a multiplex at Benz Circle in Vijayawada. He then said there were several oppostunities for the growth of the film industry in the state.
He assured the film industry that his government was ready to offer all help to shift the industry to the state from Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu said he was confident that Vijayawada would regain the lost glory of being the capital of cinema industry.
He then requested the state government to provide opportunities to film artistes in the studios located in Visakhapatnam.Several film industry bigwigs like actor Venkatesh, Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions and promoters of Prasad Imax took part in the function.
