AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao came down heavily on Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham over the contents of his letter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that highlighted the TDP governance. Alleging that the Kapu leader is trying to gain political mileage, Ganta Srinivasa Rao ruled out the allegations raised by Mudragada and clarified the stand of TDP government.
Mudragada, in his letter, alleged that Chandrababu is misleading Kapu community and that the state government is ignoring the concerns of Kapu people. However, Mr Srinivasa Rao said that the Chief Minister is looking into the Kapu Reservation issue in a systemic way so as to ensure that the members of the community are benefitted.
Speaking on Mudragada plans to launch another agitation for Kapu Reservation, the Minister added that the state government will not be threatened by any agitation or fast.
