Guntur: Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) has received “Global HR Excellence Award” in the category of E-learning from the World Education Congress (WEC), Mumbai, recently. The award was presented to the university at a glittering function organised in Mumbai wherein 700 delegates from about 130 countries across the globe participated. ANU bagged the award in a tight contest among several Central, State, Deemed and Private Universities.
The learned jury members lauded the online programmes of Acharya Nagarjuna University and its contribution to the corporate world. The jury members spoke elaborately about the initiatives taken by the university and how this learning platform, coupled with the Online examinations, was proving to be extremely beneficial to the corporate world.
They also spoke about the variety of courses that the university offered and the mobile platform too. The award was received by Dr Shantanu Rooj, CEO of Schoolguru Edu-Services Limited, Mumbai, the technology partner of Acharya Nagarjuna University. WEC has been constantly engaged in bringing out the best of education systems, methodologies, processes, innovations and technologies particularly pertaining to ICT.
It has been bringing together subject experts from all over the world to a common platform in order to create a global opportunity to prepare for future. WEC has been identifying centres of excellence in various disciplines of education and awarding them at national and international forums for over a decade and focusing on discussions surrounding evolving trends in education.
